Syria-Algeria Agricultural Cooperation

Syria and Algeria on Saturday began agricultural cooperation talks where Syrian Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Bassam Rustom, headed the Syrian side and the Algerian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Alsaadi Barakat headed the Algerian side.
Talks during the meeting dealt with boosting agricultural cooperation between the two ministries of both states.
Both sides also discussed a number of topics on top of which Syria's providing Algeria with cereals as well as exchanging expertise in the field of cereals production and means of storing them.
Rustom arrived in Algeria Friday upon an invitation by the Algerian minister Barakat for talks on bilateral economic and trade cooperation between the two states.
