Turkish temporary bridges on the border with Iraq
Iraq-Turkey, Politics, 1/27/2003
The Turkish news agency Jeihan said yesterday quoting information coming from the border line separating between Turkey and Iraq that the Turkish forces established temporary bridges over Hazeel river which separates the two countries in order to be used by the military units to stop the flow of the wave of migrants to the Turkish territories during an American attack.
The news indicated that the militia of Masoud al-Barazani, leader of the Kurdistani Democratic party, for its part, installed air defense batteries on the Iraqi side of the border.
