Mubarak discusses with Abu Dhabi crown prince current developments

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak discussed with Abu Dhabi crown prince Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Zayed al- Nahyan yesterday in al-Ein, current developments in the region and the efforts currently made to find out a peaceful solution for the Iraqi crisis.

The two sides also discussed conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories and the efforts made to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

The two sides reviewed standing relations between the two states and means of supporting and strengthening them in all fields.

Earlier in the day, the Egyptian president met in al-Ein city with the UAE army chief of staff Lt. Gen. Muhammad Bin Zayed al-Nahyan and discussed with him developments in the region and the world and bilateral relations as well as the need of maintaining cooperation between the two states in various fields.
