Some 40 new industrial zones in 19 governorates

Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and zones (GAFI), Mohamed Al Ghamrawi said that forty industry zones will be set up in 19 governorates on an area of million square meters.
A total of 2012 new industrial projects will be bull these zones at L.E. 21 billion investments, he added.
The investment zones enjoy the privileges of the new industrial zones in investment law no 8/1997, i.e., taxation exemption for years and free infrastructure.
The Authority is now promoting for these industrial zones to attract more investments, especially those in Upper Egypt.
