Continued Israeli aggressions against the liberated areas of south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces yesterday continued their aggressions against the liberated areas of south Lebanon and those adjoining the Shebaa farms for the fourth running day.

Lebanese security sources said that the Israeli long - range artillery positioned in the rear position in Ein al-Tineh bombarded the outskirts of Burket al-Naqqar to the south of Shebaa farms and the heights of Jabal al-Saddaneh, and also dropped a shell of 155 mm caliber on the main road linking the two towns of Shebaa and Kafer Shouba.

Moreover the outskirts of Eastern Kafer Shouba, Burket Bathayel and Bastara farms were exposed to heavy artillery shelling from the Israeli positions in al-Ramha, al-Sammaqa and Rweisat al-Alam while nine shells were fired at Wadi al-Asaal area inside the occupied Shebaa farms.

Meantime, the Israeli forces continued reinforcement of its front positions along that front of the Shebaa farms. The Lebanese sources added that intensive moves were observed for the Israeli forces at the positions of Zbdin, al-Ramtha, al-Sammaqa, and Rweisat al-Alam, and the Israeli forces in these positions were placed in a state of alert under an intensive sorties of the Israeli helicopters especially over the axis of Wadi al-Qirn and Tallet al-Radar.
