Israel continues escalation in south Lebanon

The Israeli occupation forces yesterday continued escalation of aggressions against the southern Lebanese border areas for the third running day.

Lebanese security sources said that the Israeli artillery yesterday fired 155 mm calibre artillery shells against the outskirts of Burket al-Naqqar, and al-Saddaneh mountain in the southern Lebanese areas from its positions in Zaoura, and Infin occupied areas.

The sources added that the eastern outskirts of Bastara farm, Bab al-Hawa, Burket Bathayel, al-Ein area and Rabbah al-Teen were exposed since yesterday at dawn to Israeli heavy machine guns shelling from the Israeli positions in al-Ramtha, al-Sammaqa, and Rweisat al-Alam. And similar shelling were made from al-Radar position against Jan'am.
