Syria-Yemen joint committee to meet in Damascus

The Yemeni Prime Minister, Abdul Qader Bajamal, is due in Damascus next Friday in a few-day visit to Syria.
The Yemeni premier will held talks with the Syrian officials on the latest developments in the region and on developing relations between the two states in different fields.
Bajamal is also due to chair the Yemeni side to the meetings of the Syrian-Yemeni joint higher committee to be held in Damascus during 26-27 January 2003.
The Syrian-Yemeni joint committee agenda includes a number of issues related to the bilateral cooperation between the two states as well as the review of what have been achieved since last meeting of the committee in Sana'a, Yemen in 2001.
