Syrian- Pakistani security cooperation

Syria's Interior Minister, Ali Hamoud, received in Damascus yesterday the Pakistani Interior Minister, Makhdom Sayed Saleh Hyatt.
Hamoud underlined the deeply-rooted Syrian-Pakistani relations indicating the standing cooperation between interior ministries of the two countries on the basis of 1996 agreement stipulating combating organized crime, drugs and falsification, preventing crime and chasing wanted peoples in both countries.
For his part, Hyatt stressed the developed relations between the two countries and praised President Bashar Al-Assad strategic views.
Both sides agreed upon scientific and technical cooperation, exchange of expertise and visits in field of police work.
