ABC: Saadi refuses to defect from Iraq

The Iraqi advisor for President Saddam Hussein has announced that the US and Britain proposed to him to defect from his country. Al-Saadi told the American TV station ABC that the British and the Americans had "contacted me during work trips abroad in order to defect from my country."
He stressed he never thought of defecting and that he supports the Iraqi people.
