Palestine-Egypt, Politics, 1/23/2003

The two delegations of the People's Command for the liberation of Palestine- General Command, and al-Saeqa arrive in Cairo today to attend the Palestinian national dialogue conference which aims at drawing a united program for national action.

The Palestinian Authority welcomed the participation of the two said groups at a time in which certain side of the "National Alliance" stationed in Damascus criticized this participation.

Both the General Command and al-Saeqa informed the Egyptian government about their decision to take part following a four member meeting in Damascus between the representatives of the two said organizations and the leaders of each of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad.
