Yemeni - Iranian agricultural cooperation

The Yemeni minister of agriculture Ahmad al-Jabali has discussed with the Iranian minister of agriculture Mahmoud Hijati means of deepening bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
Hijati who presides over his country's delegation to an official visit to Yemen expressed his ministry's readiness to provide its expertise in the agricultural realm. He expressed admiration over the Yemeni agricultural progress, as Yemen's agricultural exports reached 100 million dollars annually. Yemen used to import most of its crops.
