US to open an office for AAID in Djibouti

The White House announced yesterday that the US President George Bush informed President of Djibouti Ismael Omar Jelle, currently visiting the USA, that Washington will shortly open an office for the American Agency for International Development in Djibouti.
The White House said that Bush had met with Jelle for half an hour who thanked him for the aid given by Djibouti for the American war against what Washington describes as terrorism..
Worthy mentioning that the USA in 2002 established a military base in Djibouti in which are stationed are 900 American troops.
