EC in Amman denies evacuating diplomats

The European Commission in Amman yesterday denied news saying that European states took decisions that provide for evacuating diplomats from Jordan before the mid of next month ( February) for fears that Iraq will be exposed to an American military attack.
A statement circulated by the Commission in Amman yesterday said that the European diplomatic missions does not call on its citizens to leave Jordan, rather usually draws an emergency plan for dealing with evacuation operations.
The statement said that the European diplomatic missions notifies its citizens on by phone for any emergency and asked them to keep their passports ready.
