Morocco takes part in 2003 handball world championship in portugal

Morocco is taking part in the 2003 world championship of handball held in Portugal January 22-February 2.
The Moroccan team will be facing Spain in Guimaraes (North) at the opening of the games.
Morocco will also be playing Tunisia, Kuwait, Poland and Yugoslavia.
The Moroccan selection is expected to improve its 22nd ranking of France 2001. Its best performance dates back to 1999 in Cairo where it ranked 17th.
