Several Arab, foreign officials visiting Beirut

Malaysia's prime minister Mahateir Muhammad arrived in Beirut yesterday and held talks with the Lebanese president. On Monday evening, the Russian deputy foreign minister Alexander Sultanov arrived in Beirut from Damascus and he is due to meet today with senior Lebanese officials. Among the remarkable guests to Beirut was the delegate of the Iraqi President lt. Gen. Ali Hassan al-Majid.
Yesterday, the Russian deputy foreign minister Vassilly Bughatcjove held talks at the Lebanese ministries of defense and foreign affairs.
