Israel's respects no sanctities; breaks into al-Quds University

The Israeli army yesterday broke into the Jerusalem Open University in Ramullah, West Bank and held hundreds of students including pregnant female students.

The Israeli soldiers entered lecture halls and took hundreds of students to "the main hall to inspect their identities, and 200 students were detained after the inspection. About 800 students of both sexes -- most of them married -- are enrolled in al-Quds University which aims at giving the opportunity for men and women who had not earlier chance to complete their university study.

Meantime, Four Palestinian children were hit by the Israeli forces fire at Toulkarem and Nour Shams camps in Toulkarem, while confrontations took place between scores of Palestinian teenagers and the Israeli forces which imposed curfew on the area.

In Hebron, the Israeli forces demolished by explosives the house of the Palestinian detainee Yusri al-Shweiki who is held together with his two sons on charges of belonging to the armed win of the Islamic resistance movement Hamas. The Israeli authorities demolished the house under the pretext that it wants to install the fence in this area separating between the West Bank and Israel after annexing more parts.

Meantime, the Israeli forces are to destroy 8 houses and a kindergarten in al-Aqaba village to the east of Qalqilya under the pretext they were built unlicensed.
