Kuwait, Armenia sign memorandum of understanding

Kuwait and Armenia signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding concerning the establishment of regular bilateral consultations in order to discuss means of expanding and deepening ties of cooperation in all fields.
On the Kuwaiti side, the agreement was signed by the director of Europe department at the Kuwaiti foreign ministry Sheikh Ali Abdullah al-Ahmad al-Sabah and the Armenian side by Robin Shokoryan, the Armenian deputy foreign minister.
Following the signing ceremony on the memorandum of understanding, the Armenian official said that his country will sign future agreements with Kuwait concerning protection of joint investment and preventing double- taxation, agricultural cooperation and cultural exchange between the two countries, noting that his country's current policy is to develop its relations with the GCC member states and all other Arab states.
