Hussein threatens the US if Iraq is attacked

The Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has threatened a bad fate for the US if it invades his country.
In a televised speech on the occasion of the 12nd anniversary of the Gulf war in 1991, he said Iraq is ready and will defeat the American forces at the walls of Baghdad if Washington attacks it.
The Iraqi president stressed his country's determination to defeat the aggressors and that he mobilized his potentials, including the army, the people and the leadership. He added, in remarks to the Mogul's army which invaded the capital of Abbasid Caliphate ( Baghdad) in 1258 that Baghdad and its people and leadership are persistent to force the "Mogul of the age ( the USA) to suicide at its gates."
