Spanish region of Catalonia to open economic representation in Morocco

The Spanish regional government of Catalonia will open in the coming months a commercial representation in Morocco, said a local official.
The "Casa de Catalunya" to be based in Morocco's economic capital of Casablanca will be working to enhance economic ties with Morocco and funnel the hiring of Moroccans to meet labor needs of the region.
A delegation from the northeastern region of Catalonia will visit Morocco next March to examine with Moroccan officials the project.
The Casablanca office will be the region's second representation abroad after that of Poland.
