Information Minister, Adnan Omran, Chairman of the current session of the Arab Information Ministers Council, has asserted that the permanent committee for Arab media, recently held in Tunis, discussed in its 71st meeting several important issues.

'' The committee reviewed issues related to the Arab media condition on the international level and issued decisions for rebuilding a new status of the Arab media on the international level through the establishment of institutions and setting a plan for work.'' Omran added.

He touched upon the joint meeting of the Arab information and Interior Ministers scheduled to be held in Tunis indicating the connection between security and media in the Arab states particularly regarding terrorism and guarding the pan-Arab security.
