UN chief expresses concern over Israeli aggressions against Palestinians, killing of nine Palestinians

The UN secretary General Kofi Annan has expressed on Monday evening his concern over the Israeli aggression on Sunday against the Palestinians territories. Aggressions that resulted in killing nine Palestinians and two Israeli soldiers.
The spokesman for Annan said that there is no military solution for the situation. He called on Israel to abstain from using inappropriate force, killing operations, and demolishing of houses.
Echhard said that all sides should realize that there is no alternative for a political settlement.
Annan also welcomed the London meeting which was held yesterday to discuss the Palestinian conditions. He expressed regret over Israel's prevention of Palestinian officials from travelling to London to attend the meeting.
