Iranian- Kuwaiti joint statement

Kuwait and Iran have denounced the "Israeli barbarous crimes" committed by Israeli forces against the unarmed Palestinian people.
In a joint statements issued yesterday in Tehran, in conclusion of the visit held by Kuwait's first deputy prime minister and minister of foreign affairs Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah to Iran, the two countries held Israeli responsible for the grave conditions taking place in the Middle East region, "Conditions which threaten world security and stability."
They announced their full support to the Palestinian people and their rights to establish their own independent state with Jerusalem as a capital.
The two countries called on the international circles to support the Palestinian issue seriously and to prevent the continued Israeli aggressions against the Palestinians. They stressed solving the Palestinian question by peaceful means to spare the eruption of war and its negative results on the security and stability of this region and to preserve Iraq's unity, sovereignty and for ending the sufferings of the Iraqi people.
They stressed their care to strengthen and develop cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields and to raise the level of the joint trade committees to a higher committee for economic, cultural, scientific, military and security cooperation to be chaired by the two countries foreign ministers and the need to continue talks aiming at reaching an agreement to finalize agreements encouraging and supporting joint reciprocated investments, preventing double taxation and economic and technical cooperations between the two countries.
