Al-Quds, Theme of Festival in Washington in October

The Arab League announced it will hold next October in Washington DC a cultural festival on the city of Al Quds (Jerusalem) with the participation of Muslim and Christian associations in the USA.
Head of the pan-Arab organization's mission in the US federal capital, Hussein Hassouna, said the goal of this cultural event is to shed light on the Arab identity of the holy city and on its occupation by Israel.
The festival will feature an exhibition of products made by the city's craftsmen, documentaries on the city and shows of typical folklore.
The diplomat also announced the creation of a "watchdog" to monitor American media publications and programs on Arab states and counteract anti-Arab campaigns led by US non-governmental circles.
