Following a bloody day, nine Palestinian shot, one Israeli soldier killed

Following another bloody day in which nine Palestinians were killed by missiles of US-made Apache helicopters and the bullets of the Israeli soldiers, one Israeli soldier was killed and another was wounded.

Two Palestinians were killed in clashes which took place yesterday at dawn in Rafah in Gaza between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli forces while an Israeli military spokesman admitted that five soldiers were wounded in an attack targeted Gadid settlement in the north of Israel.

One Palestinian was wounded in Jerusalem as the Israeli soldiers opened fire at him as he approached a military barrier in Gheilo settlement while the Israeli machinery leveled a main road during an incursion operation in Beit Hanoun and destroyed the electricity and water network.

Eye witnesses said that large number of Israeli tanks incurred for more than 1500 meters in Beit Hanoun amid intensive fire and that the Israeli tanks positioned at the crossroad of the city.

The Israeli forces also launched a campaign of arrest targeting the Palestinian Saeed Karaja from Hreish village in Israel and others from the West Bank.

Meantime, thousands of Palestinians held a funeral for the two Palestinian teenagers Muhammad Kaware' and Abdul Rahman al-Najjar who were shot on Sunday as an Israeli helicopters attacked a sedan car near the European hospital of Gaza.
