Iraq-Turkey, Politics, 1/14/2003
The Turkish prime minister Abdullah Gul has stressed that the existence of the Turkish soldiers in North Iraq is to keep security on the borders.
In an exclusive statement to the Iranian daily "Iran" on the inclination of the Turkish army Generals in Turkey for war and for the military presence in North Iraq, he said that it is a misconception about the military leaders in Turkey.
