Palestinian liberation front denounces American accusations against its secretary general
Palestine-USA, Politics, 1/13/2003

The Palestinian Liberation Front denounced the campaign launched by the US against its secretary general Muhammad Abbas ( Abu al-Abbas), and in requesting Egypt to provide information about him. The Palestinian front said that the US aim is to "divert the attention from the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians and the preparations to attack Iraq."

In a statement issued yesterday, the front attributed the position of the American administration to "diverting the attention from occupation and its bloody terrorism and the escalated preparation to attack Iraq and foil the inter- Palestinian dialogue," sponsored by Egypt.

The front denounced " strongly the provocative statements made by the official spokesman for the US state department ( Richard Boutcher ) on Abu al-Abbas's visit to Cairo. N.
