Al-Assad: Arab states' only condition for peace is UN resolutions
Syria-Regional, Politics, 1/13/2003
Syria's President Bashar Al-Assad who received Saturday a delegation representing the Arab Students Union asserted that US bias to Israel encourages its aggression against the Arabs pointing out the importance of an Arab actual action because the majority in Israel don't want peace, adding that peace wouldn't be realized unless it is just and comprehensive and that Arabs and Syria have no conditions except the implementation of UN and Security Council resolutions.
President Al-Assad underlined that Israel has interest in aggravating the situation in the region particularly regarding the Iraqi question.
