Israeli forces kill one Palestinian youths, closes three 3 cooperation liaison offices

One Palestinian was killed and seven were wounded, and one house was demolished and more than 32 Palestinian were arrested by Israel in breaking in operations carried out yesterday in various areas of the West Bank and the Palestinian territories occupied since 1948.

Palestinian security sources said the Israeli forces closed yesterday three Israeli- Palestinian liaison offices in charge of maintaining security cooperation in the West Bank.

The sources explained that Israeli military broke into the offices and ordered the Palestinian security men, members of the liaison offices in Toulkarem, Qalqilya and Nablus to leave the place and confiscated their weapons.

A spokesman for the Israeli forces said that Israel opposes any presence for the Palestinian police noting that the "Liaison" offices have become useless. In December, 2002 Israeli closed the Liaison offices in Ramullah, Jenin and near Bethlehem.

The Palestinian youths, Tareq Abu Jaber ( 15 year old), was killed and two others wounded following Israeli soldiers fire at Palestinians at Aida camp for the Palestinian refugees in Bethlehem.

Palestinian medical sources said that the young Palestinian was, together with other young Palestinians, resisting the Israeli soldiers by throwing stones at them when the Israeli soldiers opened their machine- gun fire and this resulted in shooting him dead.

The Israeli forces yesterday at dawn destroyed the house of a Palestinian woman, Darin Muhammad Issa, who carried out a suicide operation one year earlier in Nablus, the West Bank.

The Israeli forces arrested three Palestinians in various areas in the West Bank on charge of resisting occupation.

The Palestinian men opened fire at two Israeli army positions near Neve Dekalim settlement in Gaza.

Palestinian security sources said that five Palestinians were wounded by the Israeli bullets in two separate incidents to the south of Gaza.

The sources explained that four Palestinians were wounded in Khan Younis and the fifth was in Rafah.

The Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians, one of them near an Israeli military barrier in Qalqilya, a member in the Hamas movement, and the second is from Ramullah.

The Israeli forces also arrested two Palestinians in Ramullah, member of the People's Front for Liberation of Palestine.

Palestinian sources said that a force representing the Israeli army broke into the house of Hassan Fattatah in Ramullah and arrested him with a friend named Ahmad Ameen.
