Al-Akhbar: Mubarak, Mahathir hold important talks in Cairo

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak will receive Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, who is due in Cairo on January 22 for a three-day working visit to Egypt, said Malaysian ambassador in Cairo Abu Bakr Daoud.
In statements to Al-Akhbar newspaper, the ambassador said his country's premier will hold a bilateral session of talks with president Mubarak to probe means to give a shot in the arm to the Egyptian-Malaysian relations in the political, economic and social fields.
