Syrian military spokesman deplores Israel's killing Syrians in the Golan

A Syrian military spokesman declared the following: " About 13:30 on Wednesday January 8th 2003, while three Syrian citizens, including two policemen (Privates) in sports wear, were heading towards the meeting point of the Raqqad Waddi with the Yarmmouk River at the Demilitarized Zone to fill drinking water, were shot by the Israeli side, a thing that led to the martyrdom of one and missing the other," adding " Shooting Syrian citizens within the demilitarized zone is considered a violation of the disengagement forces agreement and an unjustified provocation. Investigations are undergoing now for appropriate measures be taken," the spokesman said.
