Algeria: nine killed in acts of violence

The Algerian dailies said yesterday that nine persons were killed including six military men who were killed on Monday in acts of violence in Algeria.

The two Algerian dailies Le Mattin and Le Soir D'Algieres said that four military men who were wounded in an ambush which killed 43 persons among them on Saturday in Batnah died yesterday because of their wounds at the military hospital in Qusantinah ( east Algeria), thereby the number of the ambush victims increased to 47 including 43 members of the special forces.

Several Algerian dailies said that two military men were killed at a fake check point in al-Bweira ( al-Qabayel area, 120 Km to the east of the capital).

On the other hand, two girls kidnapped on Saturday during the massacre which targeted two families and resulted in 13 killings near al-Bleida town ( 50 Km to the south of the capital) were found killed on a road sideline near their village, according to a local daily. Thereby number of the massacre's victims increased to 15.
