Damascus - Wayne Universitt finalize agreement

An agreement of scientific cooperation was signed in Damascus between Damascus University and the US Wayne State University.
The agreement was signed by the Rector of Damascus University, Dr. Hani Murtada and the Rector of Wayne State University, Ervan Reed.
The agreement stipulates for the activation the scientific and cultural relations between the two universities by means of exchanging mutual scientific visits.
The agreement also included a visit by deans of dental and nursery faculties of Wayne University to the Syrian ministry of health and Damascus University next September.
Both sides agreed on a visit be paid by a delegation of Wayne University professors to Damascus for holding a symposium at Damascus University on the course of scientific research and ways of dealing with such an important and vital field.
