Gul asks for Turkey's observer membership to the AL

The Turkish prime minister Abdullah Gul has asked the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa for Turkey to be an observer member at the Arab league in order to study issues of mutual concern. Moussa promised to debate this issue at the meetings of the next session of the council of the Arab foreign ministers.
