Saudi- Russian economic cooperation

Saudi Arabia's minister of finance and national economy Ibrahim al-Assaf yesterday in Riyadh met with the Russian minister of energy Igor Yousovov and discussed with him means of developing economic cooperation between the two countries in the economic, trade and investment fields as well as opportunities and privileges available to establish joint investment projects in order to increase the volume of trade exchange.
Al-Assaf and Yousovov headed in October 2002 in Moscow meetings of the first session of the saudi - Russian joint committee on economic, trade, investment and technical cooperation. Also, The Saudi foreign minister Prince Saud al-Faisal met with the Russian minister.
