Plans to increase agriculture exports to five billion in 2003
Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Youssef Wall said the plan for the year 2003 targets upping agricultural exports to L.E. five billion compared to the current L.E. two billion.

Parallel programs to upgrade Egyptian industry sectors
Minister of Industry and Technological Development Ali Al Saeedi said that the Ministry will undertake implementation of several parallel programs during the new year 2003 to modernize the Egyptian industry and expand a vocational training to upgrade workers' efficiency.

Mykerinos pyramid to re-open to visitors
The smallest of the three Great Pyramids of Giza is to reopen to visitors at the start of January after being closed for a year for restoration, Egypt's antiquities office said Tuesday.
