Arab League economic file of Manama summit; more talk or action

A delegation representing the general secretariat of the Arab League, accompanied by experts from the Arab states arrived in Manama to prepare the economic file of the forthcoming Arab summit due to be held in the Bahraini capital, Manama.

The delegation is composed of the advisor of the AL chief for economic affairs Jamal Bayoumi, the chairman of the Egyptian center for economic studies Ahmad Jalal and the exceutive director of the economic forum for the Middle East, Iran and Turkey Hiba Handousa.

On Thursday, the AL secretary general Amr Moussa met with members of the delegation before their travel and discussed with them issues that the summit should concentrate on in order to give a push forward for the Arab economic cooperation under the context of establishing a free trade Zone and inclination towards the common Arab market.
