Moroccan NGO sees continuation of Intifada as unique alternative to face Zionist arrogance
Morocco-Palestine, Politics, 1/3/2003

Resistance and the continuation of the Intifada are the only alternatives left to face "the Zionist arrogance," said the Moroccan association for the support of the Palestinian struggle (AMSLP).

In a communique circulated in Rabat, on the occasion of the 38th anniversary of the "Fatah" movement's initiation of armed resistance for the liberation of Palestine, AMSLP notes that this anniversary offers the opportunity for both the Moroccan and the Palestinian peoples "to meditate the evolution of this upheaval and the influence of hostile forces on the choices of the Palestinian struggle."

The association further conveys an urgent appeal issued on December 19th to the Moroccan people "from Palestinian widows, orphans, sick people, students and the unemployed who suffer from poverty and exclusion and are in need of assistance."

AMSLP reiterates the necessity for "a total mobilization to support of the Palestinian people's fight and create a Palestinian state with Al Qods Al Sharif as its capital."

The association also calls on "the Arab citizens, States who rushed to normalize relations with Israel and the Arab League to abide by the boycott of Israel."
