Qatari businessmen prospect Moroccan market

A group of businessmen from Qatar, led by chairman of the administrative board of the Qatari real estate investments company -Sheikh Kaled Ben Thani Al-Thani, undertook from December 19 through 31 a prospecting mission in Morocco.
A statement of the Gulf state's embassy in Morocco says the purpose of the mission was to promote partnership between the two states in trade and banking fields.
The delegation is projecting to set up in Morocco an insurance company and have Qatari companies take part in housing projects in the Kingdom. Given the location of Morocco as a platform for European, Africa and Mediterranean regions, the delegation is also envisioning to create a Morocco-Qatari bank that will finance various projects, offer banking services to individuals and enhance financial cooperation between the two Arab states.
