Qaddoumi meets Palestinian officials in Damascus

The chairman of the PLO political department Farouk al-Qaddoumi yesterday in Damascus discussed with representatives for Palestinian organizations "the difficult situation in the Palestinian territories."
The chairman of the Palestinian national salvation front Khaled al-Fahoum, who took part in the meeting, said that discussions dealt also with "dialogue between the Palestinian sides" which will be resumed in Cairo within the few coming days.
Palestinian sources said that al-Qaddoumi discussed with the chairman of the political bureau of the Hamas movement Khaled Mashaal "means of strengthening inter- Palestinian dialogue and the right to resistance as far as the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories continued."
