Al-Ahram: Mubarak calls on Saddam not to provoke people against their governments
Egypt-Iraq, Politics, 1/2/2003
President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has stated "my recommendations for the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein is to stop attempts to provoke people against their governments because this attitude did not work in 1990 and will not also work this time."
Mubarak added in a statement to the Egyptian daily al-Ahram issued yesterday on the occasion of the new year that "lack of cooperation or provoking people against their governments is a very strange matter and will not be for the interest of Iraq."
