UN chief: No justification for war against Iraq
Iraq-USA, Politics, 1/1/2003
The secretary general of the UN Kofi Annan has stressed he sees no justification for launching a war against Iraq in light of Baghdad's cooperation with the UN weapons inspectors saying that the US has to wait until the issuance of the report of the UN inspectors before carrying out any military operation against Iraq.
Annan added that it is clear that Iraq's cooperation with the UN inspectors has so far enabled them to perform their work without any obstacle. A mater which gives no justification for launching a war against this country.
