Iranian President confers with Syrian Premier

Iranian President, Mohammed Khatami received in Tehran yesterday the Syrian Prime Minister, Mohammed Mustafa Miro. Talks during the meeting dealt with results of the Syrian- Iranian Joint Higher Committee' meetings, supporting the Palestinian Intifada, rejection to any military strike against Iraq and stressed the importance of solving the Iraqi cause in peaceful ways according to the international law.
