Moroccan fm meets Mauritanian premier in Nouakchott

Mauritanian Premier, Cheikh El Afia Ould Mohamed Khouna, received in Nouakchott on Tuesday Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, an official source here said. The two Maghreban officials reviewed the excellent relations binding Morocco and Mauritania and means to consolidate them in various fields in the perspective of the upcoming session of the joint commission.
The two states are members of the Arab Maghreb Union (UMA) that will convene a meeting of foreign ministers meeting next January 2 in Algiers.
