Israeli forces demolish 7 houses, break into Jenin university

An Israeli military force backed by armored vehicles broke yesterday into areas in Rafah to the south of Gaza and bombarded two houses for two families in the context of the collective punishment policy against the Palestinian people.

Palestinian sources said the Israeli army incurred for two kilometers in the city and bombarded the houses of Ziad Abdul Ali and his brother Muhammad who was killed in 2000 in an operation against Israel; while an Israeli military spokesman admitted the incursion operation, noting that nine Palestinians were detained.

Meantime, the Israeli forces broke into the Arab- American university in Jenin and arrested nine of its students and prevented other students from entering the University.

The Israeli forces also arrested an officer at the Palestinian security in Qalqilya and three Palestinians from Toulkarem and also the secretary of the Fatah movement in al-Jalazoun camp and demolished houses in Hebron, where some 15 Palestinian houses will be demolished for building settlements.
