Egypt: A demonstration in front of the Embassy of Qatar

Hundreds of the Left supporters and opposition members of Globalization on Saturday demonstrated in front of the Qatari embassy in Cairo in protest of the military agreement signed between Qatar and the USA.

The demonstrators who met at a call made by Egyptian Leftist movements, broke the large security built made by the police to prevent them from approaching the headquarters of the embassy at al-Muhandiseen area ( southern Cairo). The Demonstrators chanted slogans against the USA and Israel who were described as "the common enemy" for the Arabs and "the collaboration" of both Qatar and US in a likely attack against Iraq.

More than 1,000 police men carrying sticks and shields were deployed in the surrounding of the embassy and blocked all surrounding roads.
