Al-Sherif: transparency serquired in facing Iraqi crisis

Safwat Al-Sherif, Minister of Information and NDP Security General said that there must be Arab serious stand for confronting crises and dangers facing the nation and asserted President Mubarak's Keenness on maintaining Sudan's territorial integrity since Sudan represents Egypt's strategic depth.

A1 Sherif added that Egypt calls for resolving the Iraqi crisis peacefully and giving up resorting to military action.

Meanwhile, the minister expounded that all parties should commit to Transparency and Iraq should comply with the International legitimacy and UN Security Council No. 1441.

The United Nations should handle this situation impartially and not to respond to any kind of pressures and the US measures must be based on the international community' resolutions and not to be have unilaterally, Sherif asserted.
