Syrian-French Medical cooperation

The Syrian Minister of Health, Mohammed Iyad al-Shatti received in Damascus yesterday the Health Cooperation Official of International Cooperation Department at the French Foreign Ministry, Bernard Montavil and an accompanying delegation.
Al-Shatti reviewed Ministry of Health programs in the fields of training, human resources development and enhancing health services citing the qualification of the new managers to take their positions of the new 78 hospitals due to be opened shortly in different Syrian governorates.
Al-Shatti also talked about manufacturing medicine, work at medicine observation laboratory and cadres training which will work in the field of population studies.
For his part Montavil praised the standing cooperation between the French and the Syrian Ministries of Health.
