Yemenis sneak to Saudi Arabia

Director general of the Saudi borders guards Lt. Gen. Talal al-Anqawi has disclosed the existence of large numbers of arrested persons of Yemenis who sneak into Saudi Arabia.
In a statement to the Saudi daily al-Watan issued yesterday, al-Anqawi explained that mostly some of the smuggled item are found with these individuals like drugs, wines and Qats ( the plants the Yemenis chew ) and amounts of personal weapons. He indicated that the number of these Yemenis ranged between 1000- 1200, adding that things started to improve following organizing matters between Saudi Arabia and the Yemeni side.
He stressed that the border area between Saudi Arabia and Yemen is still in need of much joint organization.
