Habash calls for cling to resistance option
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 12/12/2002
The founder of the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine, George Habash, has called for strengthening Palestinian national unity and to proceed forward in the option of resistance in order to deter the occupation.
Habash stressed the need of "realizing the nature of the phase the Palestinian issue is passing through, and seeing the consequences it passes, and the American- Zionist schemes against the Arab region and the ongoing American preparations to strike Iraq."
Habash called for strengthening "national unity ties and following the comprehensive national dialogue between all Palestinian forces and groups, and protect the Intifada and draw a strategy for it and proceed into the option of resistance until the occupation is deterred. "
