Kuwait complains to the AL about the Iraqi apology

The Kuwaiti minister of the interior Mohammad Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah yesterday announced that security measures were intensified in Kuwait following the speech of the Iraqi president in which he apologized over the invasion of Kuwait and the latter ( Kuwait) considered it as a new threat against it and submitted a message in that meaning to the Arab League

In Cairo, the Kuwaiti charge de affairs Faisal al-Edwani said he had conveyed a message to the secretary general of the Arab League (AL) Amr Moussa from the Kuwaiti government replying to what was stated in the speech of the Iraqi President in which Kuwait asked the AL "to take a firm and clear position towards the false accusations stated in the speech of the Iraqi president and to work to make Iraq abide by all UN security council resolutions and the decisions of the recent Beirut Arab summit."
